Hi there

Sorry, I haven't been a good NFL blogger as of late. NBA, very much so. NFL, not so much. I've been low on time as of late, what with the broadband about to return to me, the other blog moving, starting a new job and such. Once I have broadband (and thus the ability to post during the day) and get settled into the job (as in, sleeping schedule), I'll be updating this more frequently. In the mean time, time for two of my favourite spiels. Okay, one favourite and one I like but hate having to say because of the topic. Respectively...

RB Heaven
Denver! Denver is hilarious! Terrell Davis, Mike Anderson, Olandis Gary, Clinton Portis and Reuben Droughns have run for 1000+ yards in Denver in recent history. Where are they now? Davis is done for the career, Anderson is passing the douchie on the left hand side, Gary got sliced by the Lions, Portis is sucking up in Washington and Droughs, the former Lion, will be sucking it up in Cleveland next year. Who is next up for Denver? That's right, Maurice Clarett. Ex-Buckeye, ex-pariah, ex-a bunch of stuff. Clarett's going to be a machine in Denver, just like pretty much every running back who winds up as the main carrier there in recent time. Why do teams not realize this? Denver cashed out Portis for Champ Bailey, a fantastic move. Portis isn't terrible, but he's certainly not what he was in Denver's system and behind Denver's O-Line. Denver cashed out Droughns for D-Line help. Cleveland's stupid, very stupid. Soon they'll cash Clarett out and the trend will continue. I can't help but wonder when 100% of the other 31 GM's will figure this out! It really boggles the mind.

Tillman, Pat Tillman, he's the greatest guy in history!
Gah. I didn't like hearing about this a year ago, didn't like hearing about it on the anniversary... just don't like hearing about it. Yeah, it's sad that the guy died, but it's not a national tragedy. Dude had a fantastic job, gave it up for a crummy one with an extremely high death rate and... died! Some guy went into the army and got killed! Never saw that one coming! It's not that part that annoys me though. It's that he's so nationally beloved! They're so high on the guy because he gave up a multimillion dollar a year job to go in the army. Sorry, but someone who does that is classified as an idiot. I understand he wanted to fight for his country, but do it some other way! Donate cash! Don't fork over your life and job! Jeez. I hate the stupid press the topic gets and I think he was an idiot. There you go, second spiel done.

See you soon, broadband should be working later today.
